New York, NY (February 27, 2019) - Bay Dynamics, a leader in cyber risk analytics, announced today that the Bay Dynamics Risk Fabric cyber risk and UEBA platform now integrates with IBM Resilient’s Incident Response Platform (IRP) to provide security operations centers and other incident responders with the ability to rapidly prioritize risks for investigation and trigger remediation workflows at the click of a button.

“Today’s enterprise organizations are employing increased levels of analytics and automation to both improve IT defenses and optimize the efforts of skilled security analysts,” said Ryan Stolte, co-founder and CTO of Bay Dynamics. “This combination of market leading capabilities has been created to accelerate investigation and enable automated remediation workflows within the evolving security operations center (SOC).

“The integration between Bay Dynamics Risk Fabric and IBM Resilient directly addresses this opportunity, creating an end-to-end approach that spans centralized threat analysis, visualization and mitigation to increase cross-enterprise security collaboration, and greatly improve response,” he added

Using patented UEBA and cyber risk analytics, Risk Fabric detects emerging threats, prioritizes alerts and communicates critical mitigation recommendations to IBM Resilient, which triggers appropriate actions through automation and orchestration playbooks. This powerful integration provides enterprises and government agencies with:

  • Rapid detection of malicious insiders, compromised accounts, and perimeter breaches
  • Automated response playbooks leveraging user and entity risk and behavior date
  • Comprehensive risk identification, incident prioritization and remediation steps

Bay Dynamics Risk Fabric is now part of the IBM Resilient Intelligent Orchestration Ecosystem. The Ecosystem was launched at the RSA Conference 2018, which consists of a series of enterprise-grade, bi-directional integrations. The Bay Dynamics Risk Fabric for Resilient integration is now freely available to the security community through IBM Security App Exchange, a marketplace where developers across the industry can share applications based on IBM Security technologies. A video demonstration – “Bay Dynamics and IBM Resilient: Behavioral Analytics and Orchestration Integration” – is also available.
