New York, NY (March 28, 2019) - Exiger, the leader in the provision of technology-enabled regulatory, financial crime, risk, and compliance solutions, has appointed Julie Peck to Chief Operating Officer. Based in Exiger’s New York office, Julie will introduce a new layer of operational rigor to drive the highest levels of excellence as Exiger scales to fulfill its clients’ growing appetite for technology-enabled, sustainable compliance solutions.

Julie has spent her distinguished career creating value at scale for rapidly growing technology-enabled businesses. Julie joins Exiger from Wolters Kluwer (WK), where she held senior management positions –– most recently serving as EVP and General Manager of WK’s Tax & Accounting Division in the U.S. Small Firms segment.
“Julie brings nearly 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles at companies that leverage both subject matter expertise and purpose-built technology, making her the ideal person to lead the operations of Exiger,” said Michael Beber, President & CEO of Exiger. “With a strong reputation for driving operational excellence in global businesses that operate in highly-regulated environments, Julie will be an immediate asset to Exiger and our clients around the world.”

“I’m excited to join Exiger, the most forward-thinking company in the industry, which is helping to turn compliance from an increasingly expensive cost center to a sustainable solution with competitive advantage,” said Julie. “Its winning combination of high-level regulatory acumen, professional pedigree and portfolio of advanced AI solutions delivers hard value. I look forward to partnering with Michael and the entire Exiger team to introduce the next level of operational excellence and, ultimately, continue to build best-in-class risk solutions for our global clients.”

Prior to WK, Julie gained diverse expertise in the banking, publishing, software and information services sectors at Pitney Bowes, Gannett and The Bank of New York Mellon. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
