DURHAM, NC (February 13, 2018) – Infinia ML, which helps businesses redefine the possibilities of human potential with advanced machine learning, today announced the hiring of Duke University postdoctoral researcher Hongteng Xu, Ph.D., to its data science team.
Xu is the sixth Infinia ML data scientist affiliated with Duke University. Co-founder and Chief Scientist Larry Carin, Ph.D., is Duke’s Vice Provost for Research and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Infinia ML data scientist Ricardo Henao is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the university.
Xu will continue his academic research inside Infinia ML, developing the intellectual foundation for advanced business solutions. In addition, Xu will assist on select enterprise projects, helping some of the world’s biggest companies reduce costs, increase efficiency, and bring new breakthroughs to the market.
