Irvine, CA (June 10, 2014) – Google has named Mavenlink, a fast-growing SaaS company, as one of its first Google Apps Premier Technology Partners. The program, first announced by Google on March 6, is designed to assist and promote partners with complementary apps.
Google’s Technology Partner Program is designed to recognize technology partners for their strong product integrations and success leveraging the Google Apps Services APIs. Mavenlink and other official partners will receive benefits such as technical, sales and marketing support from Google.
Mavenlink has been a longtime leader in the Google Apps Marketplace. The company’s software is the top-ranked project management app and one of the marketplace’s most-installed applications of all time. The Technology Partner program deepens Mavenlink’s relationship with Google on both product and marketing fronts.
Mavenlink’s products also integrate closely with Google’s business applications. Mavenlink allows Google users to link their two accounts via Google’s API to streamline project management and centralize communication. Using the integration, teams can synchronize tasks, dates, and other key information as well as share and access Google Drive documents from within their Mavenlink project workspaces.
Mavenlink’s synchronization with Google applications is a key feature for many of Mavenlink’s customers. One of those customers is Impact Financial Solutions, an accounting consultancy in Dallas, Texas that relies on both Mavenlink and Google Apps.
“The integration is the glue that holds it all together,” explained Tim Sims, the firm’s founder and principal. “I can’t start my day without Chrome open and those apps up.”
For Mavenlink, the new partnership with Google creates opportunities to attract new customers and increase value for existing users.
“Our collaboration with Google has truly enriched the services we offer,” said Ray Grainger, CEO at Mavenlink. “We greatly look forward to expanding this partnership as one of Google’s first Premier Technology Partners for Google Apps.”
